- Werner’s authorship is highly questionable due to the compositional technique of the work. Winkler-Klement (2013, p. 96) suggests that Franz Nikolaus Novotný may be the actual composer, and that this work is identical to the now missing shelfmark A-Ed F 23, as recorded in the inventory of 1837.
